School project. I had to put together something for a little booklet I could theoretically send out to companies who hire illustrators to show how AWESOME I am. I doubt I'll be mailing this anywhere nor do I think it proves any awesomeness on my part, but I do believe it meets the requirements of the project.
...YAY! The girl in question in this comic is a character I currently refer to as "Alex", though that may change before she winds up in DES Comics. The basis for her character and her design is... well, I'll get into that in a later deviation  As for what's going on in this, it is a simple illustrative narrative. Here it is spelled out for those who are confused: 1. Girl yawns 2. Girl turns out light 3. Darkness 4. Lights on, big raccoons everywhere 5. Raccoons scurry away 6. Hard to get back to sleep, lights stay on AND NOW YOU KNOW! And knowing is half the battle. Anyway, the whole thing is the result of just trying to think of something, ANYTHING to do for this project, having Raccoons on my mind for some reason, and the age old idea of cockroaches scurrying away when the lights are turned on being introduced to my mind in that state.
