This is a conceptual sketch I made that I had hoped to use to convince people at my college to allow me to make a sign for a particular area of the campus.
There's this room, which I will call the critique room, that is a glassed in area that our classes sometimes use for critiques. The problem is that the room extends to the second floor, where there is just a railing and no glass.
It's just as it says in the picture: people talking up there are CLEARLY heard from the room below. Just about every time we've had a critique there (actually, every time), there have been people on the second floor being loud, obscene, and talking trash about their professors.
To the point, as much as it would be nice to not have to hear them, I think the greater favor would be to them given the potential for some bad mojo after saying things for all to hear that were meant to be more private.
Tori and Alex are in this image just so I wouldn't have to come up with anyone new and so that I could avoid any accusations of trying to make them look like actual attending students.
Anyway, I have a critique tomorrow (the subject of which I will soon post), and suspect I will once again wish that they'd let me complete and post this poster.
All of our classrooms are seperated by foldable walls, so I know the problem. xD The class over there will be chittering and chatting while we're taking a test... Ugh...
But I never am the one who get yell at.. I'm not a chatterbox..
