DES Comics FolderI would normally upload this on Friday, but I wanted to show someone it NOW(!), so here it is.
I don't really like that the first instance of women in the comic are these two, but the third main character yet to be introduced should help redeem me somewhat when she shows up

Anyway, this comic has several levels that amuse me:
Panel 1 - Statement of myth regarding Goldfish memory that exists to make us feel better about keeping them in small bowls.
Panel 2 - Denouncement of previously mentioned myth regarding Goldfish memory.
Panel 3 - Even more outlandish claim regarding Goldfish memory.
Panel 4 - Statement of myth regarding Goldfish memory that exists to make us feel better about keeping them in small bowls.
For the record, I suspect that with such simple Goldfish minds, they're fine in what we give them. A little castle or something might be kewl, but I think they're ok.
This comic also establishes three things about Steve (that's right, STEVE; he's named after a friend of mine who is very different from him):
1 - He is a very silly man.
2 - He wasn't kidding about that "dates for the weekend" comment in the first comic.
3 - He looks DAMN sexy in a lab coat, and I'm man enough to say it

Edit - Huh. Goldfish should be one word, shouldn't it? That's what I get for making it at three in the morning last Thursday... well, technically Friday

Also, that girl who isn't buying the folder looks a lot like Tedd from EGS...and he would not like that. XD Heh...
And also also, that fish certainly IS a fish! Good call, fish!
Even if that myth was true (alas that the MythBusters can't really test it), it makes you wonder about bugs. How long would a bug's memory be, then? Personally, I see creatures like goldfish and bugs as too powered by instinct to really need much of a memory anyway, so it's okay.
I love the expressions. They're great. Especially the second panel. XD
Although, I confess I keep having to tell myself that the dark haired girl is not Tedd transformed.
