DES Comics Folder

This is a comic I made for my college's newspaper. I'll be making more, though I haven't decided on a name yet. For now, and possibly forever, I'm just calling them "DEShive Comics" so the paper has something to put where the title goes ^^;

EDIT: This is an actual question of mine, as many girls I encounter these days in the graphic arts department have cool hair / fashion sense, and I do resist the urge to compliment out of worry that it would weird them out.

I am routinely complimented by random strangers, men and women, on my cloak, and I always appreciate it. (Hey, it's a cool cloak!)

Mind you, I'm asexual and tend to assume anyone is merely being friendly until contrary evidence is presented. If contrary evidence is presented, I calmly explain why they're wasting their time, and they usually let it go at that. Clearly, I am insufficiently female. :-)

I'd personally love to get a compliment about my outfit-- especially if it was off the norm. ^_^ Nice comic-- it's interesting to see something besides EGS (although I love that too!) from you.

Ahh...glad to know I don't have friends like that...

...It occurs to me I should get another alternate username to post under...<.<; Even if it is functional, posting as my major female RP character is just a little strange...o.o And it's making me tangental.

As far as I'm concerned, Mr. "Dates for the Weekend" is wrong. A compliment is a compliment, and if it weirds the complimentee out... well, you've wasted a compliment but at least you know who's worth your time.

Hehe, nice... I know I generally like any compliments I get, regardless of the source. It just might be kinda weird if the person seemed to like it a little TOO much...

Why don't you just try complimenting one you don't see on a daily basis, this way no matter what the outcome, the odds of you having to deal with it are minimal.

If the outcome is good, then you can continue to compliment those who are in your own classes or someone you see daily, etc etc.

The worst that can happen is... well... a lawsuit, if you like... do some comical tripping action which ends in an accidental grope which only happened because you were attempting not to end up meeting the pavement with your face...
But what are the odds of that happening?

Asking that question is not cool since you're now old enough to be twice divorced, you heartbreaker.
You should know by now that when a girl ensemble hears a comment like "Wow, I love how you groom your hair" they silently, swiftly gang together and proceed to pound the culprit senseless with lead-filled handbags until he stops breathing. Then, they cut him open and feed on his soul. Your best chance of survival would be to skedaddle away before they surround you.

I've been reading way too much Least I Could Do lately. *another online comic that specializes in perverted humour, but not graphic* I keep seeing the characters from there in this one. It's very much their humour. Like, this could be a comic of theirs.

But this is cool! I really like it. If I knew their names or more about them I could maybe make a clever title, but . . . :shrug:

I do know that, yes, you could compliment a girl. It's cool.
