My worst fear realized. Actually, I guess I have worse fears than this. Honey badgers are pretty scary, what with being both a badger AND an internet meme.

But whatever. Inspired by Michael Bay plotting to make the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aliens. That means a species of humanoid turtles. With female turtles. Designed by Michael Bay.

Be afraid.

Be very afraid.

Unless you like this sort of thing. Then you need only fear the honey badgers.

This MUST not happen!

I'm not opposed to the concept of female turtles. Quite the opposite, I like the idea that the turtles might actually be able to find someone they can actually "be with".. plus, Turtle babies

But they need to stay mutants. At the core of the characters is the awkwardness of being different and hiding for fear of persecution. If they come on a ship, they'd have turtle guardians/mentors instead of Splinter... and even more importantly, without the ooze, how do you pull off giant talking rat?
