Oh, did I mention I have a blog? Yeah, I have a blog now. It's a blog, and I have it. I plot to post things in this blog. Blog stuff. You wouldn't understand.

From the review: "Who would I have chosen for Lando? Meg. Yes, there's a running gag about her lack of a presence in these things, and she's not black, but neither is Mort, and there are a lot of joke opportunities by making her Lando. For one thing, Meg / Lando and Peter / Han could have a hostility towards each other that mirrors the Family Guy show, and it would add a whole new subtext to Lando's betrayal."

I agree... this was a missed opportunity. Plus they gave Mort-Lando like nothing to do. :-/

hmmm, I know you already mentioned it, but it's kind of the joke that Meg never gets good roles in the Star Wars series, but I think if they were going to have her be anyone signifigant it would be Jabba The Hutt, if only to play up the 'everybody thinks meg is hideous and fat' joke. I also see a teenage girl filling the role of a thirty-something year old man being an even more unforgivable departure than Mort, regardless of the race issue.

That reminds me, (the blog thing, not the Star Wars/Family Guy stuff) I mentioned El Goonish Shive briefly in a guest blog I did about alien languages here: [link]

Two reasons I'm mentioning it besides the obvious: 1. The blog is my bro's, and he turned me onto EGS in the first place, and 2. I could only conjecture at how you come up with Uryuom, and I'd love to be corrected if I'm wrong.
